I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We ordered a bounty of bites, shared them, and sipped artfully made cocktails. I could write a whole post on the french fries . . . they literally spend three days making them! Three days! . . . the scope of this post does not include the french fries. (sadly)</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">However, it does cover the falafel. It was, in a word, perfect! Crispy little spheres of goodness tucked into a soft pita with an amazing slaw of onions and cilantro. It was really the stuff dreams are made of.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">So I decided to try my hand at making falafel. and slaw. not pita; that came from Trader Joes. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-IMgKK4Pw1Ss/TWx9Qw41SaI/AAAAAAAAmIA/yJVQA7_IuwI/s1600/IMG_0774.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-IMgKK4Pw1Ss/TWx9Qw41SaI/AAAAAAAAmIA/yJVQA7_IuwI/s320/IMG_0774.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">The Slaw:</div><div style="text-align: center;">Actually quick pickled cucumbers and onions, but it did the job!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Half a cucumbers slices (I peeled mine)</div><div style="text-align: center;">One third of a sweet onion sliced to the same thickness as the cucumber</div><div style="text-align: center;">Three tablespoons cilantro leaves</div><div style="text-align: center;">One cup of white wine vinegar</div><div style="text-align: center;">Quarter cup water</div><div style="text-align: center;">One Tablespoon Kosher Salt</div><div style="text-align: center;">Pepper to taste</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Combine, let sit in the fridge or on the counter for about one hour</div><div style="text-align: center;">Eat! (with Falafel)</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-YNNaqQ8qu_s/TWx9RBwC4ZI/AAAAAAAAmIE/5N7r6d-wZLw/s1600/IMG_0776.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-YNNaqQ8qu_s/TWx9RBwC4ZI/AAAAAAAAmIE/5N7r6d-wZLw/s320/IMG_0776.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-yAdyuM__RaI/TWx9RvpZz1I/AAAAAAAAmII/gIwjmjcWUeg/s1600/IMG_0777.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-yAdyuM__RaI/TWx9RvpZz1I/AAAAAAAAmII/gIwjmjcWUeg/s320/IMG_0777.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">The Falafel Itself</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Yummy, beany bites, fried golden in olive oil. Just begging to be slathered in tzatziki!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">In a food processor combine</div><div style="text-align: center;">one egg</div><div style="text-align: center;">one egg white</div><div style="text-align: center;">one torn piece of whole wheat bread, torn into pieces</div><div style="text-align: center;">one 15 oz can of drained, rinsed garbanzo beans</div><div style="text-align: center;">one tablespoon sesame seeds</div><div style="text-align: center;">one teaspoon cumin</div><div style="text-align: center;">one half teaspoon chili powder ( I used smoked) </div><div style="text-align: center;">one half tablespoon of dijon mustard</div><div style="text-align: center;">salt and pepper to taste</div><div style="text-align: center;">one quarter cup diced onions</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Pulse in the food processor until smooth and the mixture looks wet.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Heat three tablespoons of oil in a pan and drop in spoonfuls of the falafel mixture. This recipe should make 16 two inch diameter falafel patties. Yum! Cook four minutes on each side. Serve with warm pita, yogurt sauce, chili sauce, of course the slaw, and, if you're so inclined, a cold beer!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">I have been out of the blog-o-shpere for a couple months now, and I feel a bit timid about coming back!</div><div style="text-align: center;">Grad school and working are eating up the majority of my time, but enough of my real-life friends have asked for a blog update to make me want to get back into it. I cannot promise that my blogging will consistent. Really, my style is nonexistent. Working with kids with special needs means simple, comfy clothes for getting dirty in. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I have some other posts I need to put up, pictures and outfits from three lovely friends' weddings! That will be coming soon! (Hopefully!)</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Where?</b></div><div style="text-align: center;">This outfit was worn to celebrate, my friend Janet's birthday. Her sister and husband rented a school bus and we all went wine tasting for the day. Super fun! Thanks Lori and Kevin! My friend Whitney took these pictures at our last winery. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Why?</b></div><div style="text-align: center;">I knew it would be chilly on the bus and in the wineries. I wanted some layers, something comfortable, and cute. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">This will be another "farwell for now" post! I'm heading to British Columbia to do some boating with my dad, and this will be my first seaplane adventure! From where we live, we see them take of about 30 times a day, but I've never before had an excuse to book a ticket. That's happening tomorrow, and today I had a lovely breakfast with Nate at our favorite breakfast spot. Now I will be getting a haircut with the lovely Connie and then Janet and Kevin's wedding! So excited! I love weddings (and vacations!)</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">As for the clothes . . . I am always looking for a way to make my t-shirts and jeans a bit more fashion forward. I love this top from Anthropolgie. It mixes jersey with silk, so it looks dressier but is super comfy. These skinny, stretchy jeans are from Urban Outfitters. I'm not sold on them yet. All in all a comfortable outfit for a lot of sitting then errand running.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Have a lovely weekend everyone!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">In the spring, I helped my Mimi clean out her closets. It was four days of digging through memories, hearing stories, and deep sighs over elastic waistbands that have rotted away. In the end. I brought home three huge boxes in addition to wearing a fur coat on the plane (in May!). Sadly, many of her pieces are too small for me; she and my great grandma were 5'3" and about a size four. Somethings I am keeping, but most will be in my soon-to-start etsy store. These pieces range from the 30s to the 90's it is amazing to see how her style changed, but mostly stayed the same as she aged. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">This top is one piece I knew I wanted to wear this summer. It is made of sheer cotton and has these lovely, billowy sleeves. do not really like it with the shorts I'm wearing, but it was nice for a picnic dinner in the park. Since <a href="http://whatiwore.tumblr.com/">Jessica</a> from What I Wore did her turban tutorial, I have been sporting this look most days of the week. I love simple hair but particularly in the summer!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">I've been away for a while, but I am back, at least for the time being. This summer has been one of transition and change, not bad, just different. We've been staying home, taking long walks, and being quiet together. We've had some lovely times with friends and family as we relaxed our way through July. August will bring more change, one I'm not sure I am ready for, but life happens whether your ready or not. I am leaving the job I love and a program I helped build. Bittersweet as I move on to exciting new things. This fall I will be steeped in academia working toward my Master's and working with special needs children. But enough about that . . .</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Ix_ksHzik6c/TFeSeajNijI/AAAAAAAAgfc/CvkCtUaFFfk/s1600/None%282%29.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Ix_ksHzik6c/TFeSeajNijI/AAAAAAAAgfc/CvkCtUaFFfk/s640/None%282%29.jpg" width="414" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Ix_ksHzik6c/TFeSdVBoQ0I/AAAAAAAAgfQ/7y1D80iGLuc/s1600/None.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Ix_ksHzik6c/TFeSdVBoQ0I/AAAAAAAAgfQ/7y1D80iGLuc/s640/None.jpg" width="414" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Ix_ksHzik6c/TFeSfztKx2I/AAAAAAAAgfo/r-PAkwIyrKc/s1600/None%283%29.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Ix_ksHzik6c/TFeSfztKx2I/AAAAAAAAgfo/r-PAkwIyrKc/s640/None%283%29.jpg" width="414" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: x-small;">Scarf, Anthropologie Top, JCPenney Necklace, Banana Republic Pants, JCrew Shoes, Old Navy Bag, ?</span></i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Nate and I ventured out to a new favorite restaurant in our neighborhood, <a href="http://serafinaseattle.com/cicchetti/">Chichetti</a>. I'm in love! I ordered their marinated olives with mint and chili three times in one evening! They have wonderful chilled beaujolais and yummy sangria. We ran into some friends then saw Inception. A nice evening to finish off a languid month.</div>Lauren Paullhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12696624063148453936noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135564173109883524.post-54451028901728644182010-07-08T17:55:00.000-07:002010-07-08T17:55:16.389-07:00A List For Summer<div style="text-align: center;">I apologize for being away for so long, but life has a way of getting in the way of hobbies. In the past month or so, Nate graduated from med school and started his residency, we roasted a pig for family and friends at the farm, I boycotted blogging due to cold, rainy, miserable weather, and we spent some time adjusting to our new schedule (which is about to change in a month, again!)</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Ix_ksHzik6c/TDZxvDfwRLI/AAAAAAAAfzY/PuYjfkPAAZU/s1600/IMGP0037.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="425" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Ix_ksHzik6c/TDZxvDfwRLI/AAAAAAAAfzY/PuYjfkPAAZU/s640/IMGP0037.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>why</b></div><div style="text-align: center;">I have had this page from InStyle hanging by my desk since . . . um . . . March, I think!<b> </b><i> </i>I really loved the utility jacket with the floral skirt. I swapped platforms for flats since I was going to be doing a lot of standing and walking. The necklace was something I adored one night in Greece, and Nate surprised me with it the next morning! I wanted something simple for a night of fun and games! I wore this to the <a href="http://www.krochetkids.org/">Krochet Kids</a> Skee Ball Tournament (where I beat my brother and Katie made it to final four!) at a dive-y bar in Ballard. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><i> </i><b> </b></div>Lauren Paullhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12696624063148453936noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135564173109883524.post-76214820596826306092010-05-18T21:44:00.000-07:002010-05-18T21:44:33.989-07:00Still Holding on to Some SoCal Style<div style="text-align: center;">Hi there!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

I realized that the outfits I wear on vacation tend to be super simple. Why can't I be super simple at home? Well, weather is one reason. PNW weather means that it is essential to layer all year round. California and Arizona, where I grew up, only require a light jacket if any at all. Despite the inevitable layers of fall, winter, and early spring, I can keep it simple in the summer! <i></i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>why</b></div><div style="text-align: center;">We headed to Malibu to visit the Getty Villa with Mimi. I can't believe we hadn't visited it before! It is just so beautiful! We spent the afternoon wandering around the gardens and looking at antiquities. All the ancient treasures made us hungry for some Greek food. Luckily, Katherine directed us to Tony's Taverna in Malibu Country Mart. Some tzatziki and a combo platter later, we headed back south.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b> . . . </b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Long story long, I decided that my pasty Seattle skin was brave enough for shorts, and I absolutely love this jacket of Mimi's! I love its big sleeves and scrunchy collar! She still wears it, so I can't have it! Boo! I never thought I'd be fighting with my grandmother over clothing! I think I like my style on California quite a bit more than my style in Washington. I need to figure out how to be more inspired at home. I think I especially like this outfit, because after lunch, I received me acceptance to grad school! </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

Needless to say it was a busy yet relaxing day! I picked up this tank top at <a href="http://www.genericyouth.com/gy/Intro.html">Generic Youth</a> (more info in a future post) and decided to wear that day. I had originally worn the blouse buttoned up. I really like the way outfits come together for me in California.<b> </b>A little bit beach, a little bit boho, some vintage thrown in, and of course I dress for comfort!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Why:</b></div><div style="text-align: center;">We always go to the Hyatt in Huntington Beach for brunch on either Mother's Day or Easter. It is my idea of Heaven - sun, beach, an endless stream of bloody marys and mimosas, family . . . I did have a wrap in case it got cool, but really it was so sunny and warm, I did not need it! I really wanted to wear this flowy sundress from Anthropologie. The sash that it came with was kind of boring, so I tried a floral scarf and ended up really liking it!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I have more fun posts from the trip and some outfits featuring treasures from my Mimi's closet. I cannot wait to get her Etsy store up and running!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Ix_ksHzik6c/S9uz4eGpsGI/AAAAAAAAeRA/MVuP9T_SBIE/s1600/Dorothy+Louise+Sergel003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Ix_ksHzik6c/S9uz4eGpsGI/AAAAAAAAeRA/MVuP9T_SBIE/s640/Dorothy+Louise+Sergel003.jpg" width="434" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> This beautiful woman is my grandmother, Mimi. Her real name is Dorothy Louise or "Dotty" for short. She is my mother's mother and my last living grandparent. She is one of the most special people in my life. From her I inherited my love of fashion, food, drinking, and laughing (and probably some stubbornness, too). My grandpa, Poppop, took this picture outside their apartment in Hollywood where they lived in the 1950s. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">This weekend I will visit her along with my brothers and dear friends Katherine and Sandy. The time I spend with my Mimi is so precious and of course limited by geography, budgets, and time. This trip we are going to sort through her massive collection of gorgeous vintage clothing, and I will be selling some of it on Etsy. Sorting through her memories, whether in the form of photographs, clothing, or words reminds me that who I am today started long ago. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>why</b></div><div style="text-align: center;">I've had these jeans for a VERY long time and haven't worn them. I had seen the combo of grey jeans and a motorcycle jacket somewhere earlier this spring, and I have been really wanting to try it out. Mara and I were celebrating her final week in Seattle and also Seattle restaurant week. So I wanted something fun but with enough room for the delicious food and drinks I'd be consuming!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>the scoop</b></div><div style="text-align: center;">When Jeff from Midori sent me the ribbon to make the belt for their blog, he also sent me several other amazing ribbons! I am particularly in love with the grey Dupioni silk ribbon! For some reason this week I had the idea to use it with my pink African glass beads. I like the finished product. The knots turned out to be abut the same size as the beads. I think I will try using ribbon in other jewelry pieces as well. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><br />

Jeff from Midori had seen a ribbon belt I made using one of their luscious ribbons. We teamed up to share the "how to" Midori's and my readers! Their website is a treasure trove of beautiful pictures and ideas for how to use ribbon and paper in creative ways! Check them out!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>the scoop:</b></div><div style="text-align: center;">I have been thrifting up a storm recently! I love it when I find a pair of pants just like the ones I almost bought at Nordstroms for $5.99! It feels good to know that I am buying something that's "recycled." I have also decided that it is high time I started making <i>some</i> of my own jewelry. I am hoping to learn more of the basics ASAP.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>why:</b></div><div style="text-align: center;">As the days get warmer, I find myself running around and spending more time outside with the kids (students, not my own). I want to wear something that allows me to move, take off a layer if I get to warm, but still looks cute. Today, I also wanted to wear something that shows off this new necklace!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><i></i></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>the scoop:</b></div><div style="text-align: center;">I am still having a love affair with my jeggings. I can't get over how comfortable they are! Really this outfit is about the accessories. The shoes are woven wedges originally from Mexico. The lace hem of the top underneath adds length and detail to an otherwise boring blouse. They necklace was a crafty project I have been meaning to make for over a year! I had seen these amazing African sea glass beads at a bead store. I finally decided that adding some coral beads I have been eying would be perfect et voila! This was my first homemade piece of jewelery, and I am happy enough with the result to wear it with pride!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Happy almost weekend!</b></div>Lauren Paullhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12696624063148453936noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6135564173109883524.post-47347157776551465882010-04-20T22:40:00.000-07:002010-04-20T22:40:27.798-07:00Copy Cat<div style="text-align: center;">Trying something new . . . </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>why:</b></div><div style="text-align: center;">I (and probably all of you, too) love to rip out outfits and inspiration from magazines. Some get pinned up, others adorn my nightstand in piles sorted by day, night, skirt, pants, etc. Well today, I busted one out from Instyle. I loved the combo of Navy pants, a light jacket, pretty necklace, and pink shoes. Their <b> </b>outfit was a bit more polished, but since I am a teacher, I can get away with less than polished. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>the scoop:</b></div><div style="text-align: center;">Honestly, these pants are the kind I'd, until recently, avoid like the plague. High waist, tapered leg, partial elastic waist band, not back pockets, eek! But I am crossing over as I find pairs here and there in thrift shops. I like them on a pair by pair basis. The sandals are a bit much, but I bought them on a whim. In true cheap shoe fashion, they are already breaking . . . that's what happens when you pay $15 for footwear.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">This outfit is a typical Saturday afternoon outfit. We were headed south to have dinner with my parents at a restaurant where throwing food (peanut shells) on the floor is appropriate! While I love to get dressed up and put together more elaborate ensembles, I love a simple sweater and button up with jeans. It feels so fresh and relaxed to me! </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">What do you like to wear on the weekends? </div><div style="text-align: center;">Does it tend to be more simple, or do you make your weekend wear fancier that during the week?</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">This weekend was lovely here in Seattle! The sun was finally shining and it was actually kind of hot! Lots of eating, drinking, gardening, and dog walking happened! I managed to cross off most of my "to-do list," and still see friends and family! I love when that happens!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">On Friday I had the joy of eating at <a href="http://www.ravishoneastlake.com/">Ravish</a> in our little neighborhood of Eastlake. It started as a happy hour with some favorite girl friends and some how turned into late night dining with my favorite husband. If you are in Seattle and you haven;t had a chance to grab one of the many delicious, seasonal plates ravish has to offer, you need to get over there! Monica said it was "very Kate Spade like" in the restaurant. Cute place, great food, great wine, what's not to love?</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">Well the sun is shining, people are out on Lake Union, and I am pining for a picnic - summer must be coming!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Today was they the first day all year I have wanted to have a picnic. Nate and I often pack some yummy food and beer and sit at Gasworks Park to watch the city lights come on. It is one of my favorite things to do when the weather is warm. As much as I have been yearning for the sun and warm weather, today was overshadowed by a horrid event at work. Working for someone there is no possible way you can respect and has been called "toxic" by her peers makes my stomach ache. Needless to say I came home and took a giant bite out of a brownie! Chocolate is my drug of choice! Then Nate and I ate amazing burgers at The Counter and called it a night!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">But in the name of cheeriness, here is my little outfit for the day. I am secretly falling for my jeggings. It is am embarassed. But they really are so comfortable!<br />
<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Today started with rain and ended sunny and warm! I did not wear this outfit today, but I am going to wear it for a special dinner this weekend. I might add some tights if it gets chilly again (no!!) . . .</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This is a great example of High-Low. The skirt is Marc Jacobs(albeit thrifted), but the rest is no name and thrifted or from Old Navy. As much as I would love to wear coordinating designer pieces, it is fun and refreshing to see how uber pricey and uber cheap can mix comfortably. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">Today I am admitting to purchasing jean leggings otherwise known as "jeggings." I did not come about the decision to purchase these "jeggings" easily. Many a time I was seconds away from purchasing the Hue version in a smattering of colors. However, each and every time I put them back on the rack. Well as some of you might know, Anthropologie was having a sale on the Joe's version. They are thicker and more jean-like that their cheaper counterparts. I managed to find them in my size and in the color I coveted! I did not try them on in the store. I was too afraid of humiliation. I wanted to be home in case these "jeggings" made me legs look like sausages and the muffin top look like something from Costco. If this were the case, I could swiftly replace them with my most comfortable and camouflaging sweatpants. Luckily, my thighs are not too sausage-esque and my self image is still intact. I was reminded today why, as a third grader, "jeggings" were my pants of choice. Although I am pretty sure those were of the acid washed variety . . . </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">What do you think of the "jegging" trend/craze?</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
If you are already sporting them, what is you favorite way to wear them for spring?</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">Such a lovely weekend we have had here in Seattle! I love it when you remember why you live in your city or town. I love how the nice weather makes all Seattle-ites come out to enjoy the sunshine! With that said, I did go see a movie yesterday. BUT I took the bus just so I could spend more time walking around in the sun! Today I have been gardening on out deck and spent a few hours wandering around the shops with Nate. So wonderful!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Yesterday, it was sunny, but still quite chilly, so I was not really feeling the bright spring colors that are in every window. I feel like black is a good basic when you are between seasons. I know we are not technically between seasons, but it still feels that way to me!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
